I've been using Healthy Home Carpet Cleaning service for over 3 years now. I try with everything to take the natural/nontoxic route. After much investigating, I realized how dangerous cleaning your carpet can be. Most companies I came across (that advertised themselves as natural) either didn't do a good job or their products/process weren't as natural as they said.
Pat (with Healthy Home) not only spent the extra time to explain why his process was different but also did an exceptional job cleaning my carpets. My main concern with my carpets (after being cleaned) is how much of the product is being left behind. I do not want my kids rolling around in soap and chemical residue. That's not a concern with Healthy Home. The product Pat uses are scientifically developed using micro-organisms plus deep extraction. You can't get much better then that!
After moving over 1 ½ hours away from Healthy Home I tried a different service in my area who claimed to take a natural approach. I was horribly disappointed. Their process was awful. They sprayed product onto my carpet and used a big buffer to get the product out. The buffer did nothing but push the product into my carpet. Within a week my carpets were dirty and sticky. Within a couple of months I had my carpet replaced. My ½ year old carpet looked years older and had major traffic areas. About six months after having the carpet replaced I put a call into Pat to see if he would drive out to clean my carpets. I was expecting him to say that I was too far away and was happily surprised to hear that he'd do it. Since then there has never been a question of who I will use to get my carpets cleaned.

My son Sean, had severe asthma for a few years, he was hospitalized 4 times. After the 4th hospitalization, I called in Patrick from Healthy Home. He found a dangerous mold in our basement, and then went on to rid the entire basement of it. Since then, (April 2006), my little boy has not been sick or wheezy at all! And it is almost September of 2006. Patrick recommended that we also purchase an Austin Air Health Mate, and put it in his room. My daughter Kayla and I had also been sick, and we are MUCH better as well. I really feel that Patrick saved my son's life. We will be forever grateful.
