Why do my carpets look horrible?

Why do my carpets look dirty shortly after they've been cleaned?
The answer is two fold: (1) Detergents and chemicals can't remove the fatty oils that hold soil together (natures glue) Fatty molecules also host bacteria.(darkened traffic lanes) In reality the carpets are still dirty. (2) Traditional steam cleaning will leave a soap residue in the carpet, chemical dry cleaning leaves oil or solvent based residues behind.

Why do certain spots keep coming back?
Most of what we call phantom stains or re-occurring stains are food or protein, sugar and lactaid (dairy) Detergents and chemicals can't breakdown these compounds. The best they can do is hide or cover them with their residue for a while. Another type of stain comes from spot cleaners that cover the original stain and leaves a sticky residue that attracts more dirt.

Is black mold dangerous to humans?
There are many different types of mold that are seen outdoors as well as indoors. Many of these molds can cause allergic reactions, which result in hay fever, headaches, breathing problems. Some molds produce harmful micotoxins when digesting organic matter. These toxins are very bad for human health. These molds are known as Toxic Mold. A very harmful and sometimes deadly type of toxic mold is known as Black Mold.

Does Duct Cleaning really work?

What health effects are associated with radon exposure?
Radon gas decays into radioactive particles that can get trapped in your lungs when you breathe. As they break down further, these particles release small bursts of energy. This can damage lung tissue and lead to lung cancer over the course of your lifetime. The Surgeon General has warned that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States.
